Effective direct mail postcard marketing for service
Here are some tips on what you should and should not write for a direct mail campaign to promote your business to improve client web sites:
- Praise the good points on their current it before offering some suggestions for improvement. ( No-one likes to hear that their web site is rubbish. )
- Make an offer to provide a benefit (but don’t make it a concrete offer).
- Quantify the benefits of your offer.
- Don’t try and sell anything in the letter.
Once you have sent a card that meets these points, follow it up with a phone call. Again, don’t try and sell during the call. All you’re after is a meeting in which you can perform a needs analysis to find out what the prospect needs and wants. Once you have that information, you can offer a solution which makes your sale.
These simple steps can be followed for most any type of service business to develop an effective postcard marketing campaign.

These steps seem pretty simple! Thank you for the very short and sweet article I hope this also applies to real estate postcard marketing.
